Descriere produs

This champagne is famous for its highly expressive bouquet, which stems from the very careful preservation of the grape's natural
fresh red fruit aromas. The Champagne Laurent Perrier rose is one of the rare rosé champagnes to be made using the maceration (skin contact) technique, which gives it the extraordinary depth and freshness that has made it the benchmark for rosé champagne arounf the world. Revered by wine-lovers for its flavours and by aesthetes for the beauty of its 17th century-style bottle, the Cuvée Rosé Brut is one of the stars in the Laurent-Perrier range.Meticulous sorting of the grape bunches and controlled maceration help extract the colour and reveal the full aromatic richness of the pinot noir grapes. Unlike most rosé champagnes, the basis of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut is obtained by drawing the juice from black grapes in the vat, not only by blending red and white wines. It is cellared for at least four years, but cellaring may be adapted to preserve the fresh red fruit aromas. The Cuvée Rosé Brut makes a delicious apéritif. It pairs very well with charcuterie and poultry, and is an extraordinary match for red fruit desserts. The more daring will try it with Asian cuisine.

Descriere a Estate “With quality wine and people, you cannot fail." Bernard de Nonancourt. Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is a family domain. The story starts with Alphonse Pierlot, a former cooper and bottler from Chigny-les-Roses, who settled in Tours-sur-Marne on the parcels of land named "Plaisances" and "La Tour Glorieux" and started producing the first Champagnes of the House. In 1881 Alphonse Pierlot bestowed the company to his cellar master, Eugene Laurent. Eugene Laurent and his wife, Mathilde Emilie Perrier run the Champagne House together. When Eugène died, Mathilde took control of the estate, linking her surname with her late husband's to create the brand Veuve Laurent-Perrier & Cie. With the country weakened by WWI, Mathilde thought about expanding Laurent-Perrier's market and introduced it to Great Britain, where it has since been avidly enjoyed. Eugenie inherits Laurent-Perrier after Mathilde passed away in 1925. Still struggling from the aftermath of WWI and faced with the beginnings of WWII, Eugenie sold the business to Madame Louise Lanson de Nonancourt, sister to Champagne producers Victor and Henri Lanson. Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt, confronted with difficult economic times and seeking a future for herself and her sons, seizes the opportunity and purchases the company. She poured her life's savings into Laurent-Perrier, which at the time is now on the verge of bankruptcy with only 1,000 mortgaged cases. She managed the company through WWII, and at one point hides her 100,000 bottles behind a wall, while her sons Maurice and Bernard were fighting in the war. Maurice, the oldest son who was expected to run Laurent-Perrier after the war, is taken prisoner and killed in the concentration camp of Oranienbourg. Bernard de Nonancourt assumed ownership of Laurent-Perrier after coming back from the war. Motivated by his love for Champagne and respected for his team, Bernard de Nonancourt dedicated his life to build Laurent-Perrier with the philosophy that "with quality wine and people, you cannot fail." In 1957 Laurent-Perrier, introduced the first ever multi-vintage prestige cuvée, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle - exemplifying the House's dedication to the Champagne craft over an elitist image. In 1958 Laurent-Perrier launched its multi-vintage Cuvée Rosé Brut made from 100% Pinot Noir using the rare skin contact method (also known as the saignée method) to obtain its salmon-pink colour and added complexity. In 1975 Alain Terrier became Laurent-Perrier's cellar master, winemaker and overall genius behind Laurent-Perrier's Champagne creation. Monsieur Terrier emphasized the art of blending by sourcing grapes from the finest vineyards in Champagne, vinifying each lot separately, and assembling them under his watchful eye and discerning palate. In 1980 Laurent-Perrier was the first House to reintroduce the concept of brut nature (no added dosage) Champagne to a new generation, Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut In 1987 as a wedding present for his daughter, Alexandra, Bernard de Nonancourt created a vintage rosé made of a blend Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a private family reserve, Grand Siècle Alexandra Rosé 1982. The vintage rosé quickly caught on among connoisseurs as a rare must-have, and by popular demand Laurent-Perrier continued its limited production, with the most recent release being the Alexandra Rosé 1997. In 1997 Yves Dumont became chairman of the Management Board and keeps the passion of Champagne. The history event of the family and the turning point of the history could be in 1945 when the army sergeant Bernard de Nonancourt and his tank men break into Hitler's wine cave near the "Eagle's Nest" a retreat in the Bavarian Alps. There, to his amazement, he discovered half a million bottles of wine including several hundred cases of Salon Champagne, which he had watched being stolen five years earlier. An exceptional Champagne, with a innovative thinking …
